A népi forradalmat olyan projektek fémjelzik, mint a mindenttudó Wikipédia (Jimmy Wales), a copyleft legújabb generációja a Creative Commons licensz (Lawrence Lessig), vagy a szövegtolvaj textz.com (Sebastian Luetgert). Szó lesz a városi és a digitális szövet gerilla-taktikáiról, a szabad szó és a szabad információ esélyeiről egy neoliberális világrendben, és a független információ-termelés felszabadító erejéről.

Előzetesként ma (csütörtök este) a Yes Men film kerül vetítésre az egyik bólogatójancsi résztvételével, a konferenciát pedig a Creative Commons licenszek honosítását ünnepeljük magyar nyelven. A program alább, a helyszín: Közép-Európai Egyetem (CEU), Nádor utca 9.

The conference takes place at the central building of the Central European University. The exact address is: Budapest, Nádor utca 9. This location is in walking distance (15 minutes) from most of the hotels and the places where the evening programs take place.

For those who stay in the CEU Residence Center we provide night shuttles from the CEU to the Residence Center. The schedule of the shuttles will be available at the registration desk.

The registration desk is open from Thursday 13.00, at the Central European University Nádor street building.

19.00 Screening of the movie “The Yes Men” with one of the Yes men
A comedic documentary which follows The Yes Men, a small group of prankster activists, as they gain world-wide notoriety for impersonating the World Trade Organization on television and at business conferences around the world. The film begins when two members of The Yes Men, Andy and Mike, set up a website that mimics the World Trade Organization’s—and it’s mistaken for the real thing. They play along with the ruse and soon find themselves invited to important functions as WTO representatives. Delighted to represent the organization they politically oppose, Andy and Mike don thrift-store suits and set out to shock unwitting audiences with darkly comic satire that highlights the worst aspects of global free trade. (Source:IMDB)

Sonic Tags Workshop city tour
Tiny radio transmitters broadcast the sonic messages of an international mix of artists around the 100 MHz FM frequency in Budapest on the 13th of October from the afternoon. The leaders and participants of the workshop lead tours in the city, so You have the chance to explore Budapest by looking for these radio messages.
