Have you ever felt paralyzed, watching a racist insult in the streets?
Were you unable to react on somebody bitching on persons who look
ethnically different? Did you run out of arguments? Did you stay quiet
out of fear, when somebody physically attacked a person not fitting into
her/his narrow view?
In this workshop we want to work together on overcoming fear and
paralysis and find strategies instead to speak and act out against
racism publicly and visibly. After analyzing possible obstacles, we will
use the method of roleplays. With that we will invent, discuss and try
out different possible ways to act in a certain situation. Bring your
experiences and share them with us!
